From Thursday, May 7 to Sunday, May 10 at Bruno Tiezzi skating rink competitions will take place for the following categories: Mini, Pupil, Cadet, Youth, Junior and Senior.

As part of the event, the 7th Fabio Belotti Memorial will also be held.

How to get here

By train

Siena train station is located about 2 km from the city center and the skating rink. The city center can be reached by bus, taxi or on foot using the escalators. Trains connect Siena with major cities such as Florence, Pisa and Rome.

By car

Siena is easily accessible by car via the main highways:

  • from the north, take the A1 motorway to the Firenze Impruneta exit, then follow the Florence–Siena expressway
  • from the south, take the A1 motorway to the Valdichiana* exit and follow the Bettolle–Siena expressway

By plane

The closest airports are:

  • Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci (FLR), about 68 km from Siena; from the airport, take a shuttle bus to Santa Maria Novella train station (SMN); from there, buses or trains to Siena are available
  • Pisa airport Galileo Galilei (PSA), about 115 km from Siena; reach Pisa Centrale station using the automated Pisa Mover train, then take a train to Siena with a change in Empoli
  • Rome airport Fiumicino (FCO), about 260 km from Siena; take a train to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station (SMN), then continue to Siena by train or bus or take a direct bus from Rome Fiumicino to Siena
  • Bologna airport Guglielmo Marconi (BLQ), about 170 km from Siena:
    • train + train/bus, take a shuttle or bus to Bologna Centrale station, then travel via Florence Santa Maria Novella (SMN) to Siena with a train or a bus
    • bus (with transfer), some bus services connect Bologna to Siena via Florence
    • car or taxi, by car or private transfer, the journey from Bologna airport to Siena takes about 2 hours (approx. 170 km)
